I know where she is soaring to right now...I'm sure she is looking down and giggling on how she got her last GOTCHA in on us... beat us to the place where you just might get to be young, dumb, and stupid again, and whole and young and healthy and figuring on how to stay younger than Genette forever...
Of course she knew she was loved as a sister by us all...when you stop and think how far we went back--to grammar and high school with scouts... lordy, I think we go back 35 years or so...a little older than BPW time...
We have some good memories, very good, and what a blessing to go so quietly before the cancer pain became a bigger part of her life than enjoying her family.
A blessed event happened today...our bobbi just went to sleep. Lordy, we should all be so lucky. She was a good person with a big heart and loved the little things in life that made a difference.
The sadness is we only have the memories. We are not supposed to be sad that a sick person is now beyond the pain....the sad part is the laughter can't be heard anymore...
